Project Lumad is a legacy project of The Initiative PH under the Department of Marginalized Community Action. It advocates for Lumad students' right to claim education by supporting their Bakwit (Refugee) school located in the University of the Philippines-Diliman. The project aims to raise funds to procure food and care packages for the Bakwit Lumad students particularly during the height of the pandemic in 2020.  With the pandemic depleting their already limited resources, threatening the students and teachers with hunger and disease, Project Lumad delivered food and care packages and now continues to assist the Bakwit school in their different initiatives to secure Lumad students' education and in turn, their future.

I crafted the original branding and first sets of publication materials for Project Lumad, set up and curated the various social media pages, and helped raise Php 387,744.26 or $7500 in the first round of fundraising that delivered 12 waves of food and care packages to the Lumad Bakwit School. Project Lumad proceeded to make it to the Top 40 of the Ten Accomplished Youth Organization Awards in the Philippines.
