Project PEARLS is a non-profit organization that aims to feed, educate, advocate, and work for the basic human rights of children living in poverty. Project PEARLS volunteers and staff aims to do so by giving these marginalized communities PEARLS: Peace, Education, Aspiration, Respect, Love, and Smiles through education, empowerment, nutrition, nourishment, and healthcare.
I volunteered onsite pre-pandemic to teach children in various grade levels Mathematics and English during their Sunday After School Programs which aims to give children in Helping Land, Tondo, Manila tutorial services based on the Department of Education curriculum for their grade level. When the pandemic hit, I began to create educational videos for the children that are posted on Project PEARLS ZilLearn Channel and Youtube Channel for easier accessibility to all Filipino children who need assistance with their English and Mathematics lessons.
